In Honor of Dr. Edward A. PollowayEd Polloway

Dr. Ed Polloway has recently announced that he will be retiring from Lynchburg College this summer.  Ed started at LC when he joined the Department of Education in 1976, and he has been a leader at the College as a department chair, dean, and vice president.  Along with his excellence in and passion for teaching, Ed has also been a national leader in the field of special education – he has authored over 100 articles and 30 books in his field, and served as a pioneer in the preparation of teachers in special education internationally.  President Kenneth Garren has observed, “ When it comes to creativity and looking to do more, do better, and do for others, Dr. Polloway is undoubtedly the champion at Lynchburg College.  His fingerprints continue to be found on just about every good project at the College.”

We invite you to join us in honoring Dr. Polloway by gathering together and creating the Dr. Edward A. Polloway Scholarship Fund.
